Warm fruit tones, a distinctive bouquet with hints of yellow flowers and herbs, you will feel surprising acids on the palate - such is Pecorino . White wine that has conquered the vineyards of the Italian regions of Marche and Abruzzo. Will he win you too?
Pecorino - get to know him better
It is a newly discovered grape variety without exaggeration. In the past, due to lower yields, it was moved only to very limited areas, it was used at most to mix with other species and even risked its extinction. Fortunately, winemakers from the Sibillini and Abruzzo have not forgotten it, and today it seems that the right time is right for her as well.
What is typical for wines from this vine
Clean versions currently predominate. They are characterized by a thicker consistency, a strong and clear aroma with a predominance of herbs such as marjoram and thyme. But you will also feel the floral tones of lime and acacia. The palate is fresh, dry, with a delicate taste of minerality, which is balanced by the more delicate fruity. It has a medium alcohol content and a high persistence.
